September Update
My Dear Friends,
Greetings from a very hot and dry Zambia. The drought has devastated the country and we are all affected. As we wait two days in line to buy mealie meal and struggle to find propane for cooking, I can only be grateful for each of you. We have solar power. That means we have water and electricity in a drought laden country that has little of either. We are Blessed!
We will be holding our grand opening of Redemption House on October 15th. I am so excited to create permanent structures that can be part of Zambia for a long, long time. I will take pictures and get them on our website for you.
This edition of our newsletter has been written by the children of AFCZ. They were asked to write to you on one of two topics: how has the funding from donors impacted your life or what is your favorite part of receiving the barrels filled with donations from America. The children were very serious about the letter writing. As you read through them, I hope you can get a sense of how important you are to us and how much change your contributions can bring to us.
We pray that you are rewarded generously for your part in the AFCZ family.
May God Bless you.
